SRM Equity Partners, LLC Announces Promotion of Chirag Shah to Principal
January 29, 2024 – Austin, TX – SRM Equity Partners, LLC, a leading private equity firm, is pleased to announce the promotion of Chirag Shah to Principal. This promotion reflects Mr. Shah's exceptional contributions to the firm's success.
Chirag is a key member of the firm and is responsible for evaluating and executing investment opportunities across various industry sectors and partnering with portfolio company management to execute strategic and operational initiatives. He works with SRM Equity Partners’ fire and life safety investment, Fire Safety & Protection, LLC, and currently is its Interim Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Shah joined SRM Equity Partners in 2022 as a Vice President. Prior to SRM, he was a Vice President at The Wicks Group, a private equity fund based in New York. Prior to Wicks, Chirag was an Associate at The Sterling Group, a mid-market industrial private equity fund based in Houston. Chirag began his career as an investment banker in the Technology, Media & Telecom Group at Barclays in New York. Chirag holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
