Ken Kolling is the owner of Kolling Consulting, a management consulting firm providing private equity due diligence and operational excellence support. Ken assisted Cerberus Capital Management with Supply Chain and Operational Analysis support during the successful acquisition of SubCom, an international leader in modern undersea data transmission networks. He has also provided due diligence support to Goldman Sachs.
Ken ran the Coveris Advance Coating $140mm Business as Managing Director for eighteen months during 2014 to 2015, at the request of Sun Capital.
Ken retired from Danaher as a Senior Vice President in Operations where he had Multi-Plant Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain and R&D responsibilities. Ken was with Danaher for 12 years.
Prior to Joining Danaher, Ken worked for GE for 22 years. Responsibilities included Distribution, Multi-Plant Manufacturing and Customer Service. His last position with GE was General Manager of Motors Manufacturing leading an international network of Manufacturing facilities producing fractional horsepower to large industrial size horsepower motors with revenues of $1 billion.
Ken is a graduate of the GE Management Development, Business Management and Executive Development Programs in Crotonville, NY and Europe.
He has been certified in the Danaher Business System, Toyota production System (Shingijutsu) and Six Sigma (Luftig and Warren).
He is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic institute with a BSME degree. He also holds an MBA degree from the University of Louisville.
